Hole in the Wall’s newest production, Still Life With Iris, is a fantastical adventure that centers on a little girl’s search for the simplest of things: home. In this installment of Meet the Actor, we meet Neo Valentin, who plays multiple roles in the play.

Describe the characters you play? I play Mozart and  Thunder Bottler Number One. Mozart is an eleven year old composer who has an irrational fair of water. Thunder Bottler is a worker in Noctourno. He makes the thunder that we hear during the storms.

What is Tony Palmieri like as a director?

He is amazing. So caring. He is easy to work with and really understands people. He is also very calm, relaxed and knows how to get the job done.

When did you start doing theater?  6th grade

What was your first role? I played “Bastian” in  The NeverEnding Story.

What is it that you love about theater: When I am on stage, it is a whole different world. I forget everything about what went on during my day when I am on stage. I love acting because I don’t have to be myself

How old are you? I am 16 years old.

What grade are you in?  I am in 10th grade.
