Hole in the Wall’s newest production, Still Life With Iris, is a fantastical adventure that centers on a little girl’s search for the simplest of things: home. In this installment of Meet the Actor, we meet Ian Rothauser, who plays Elmer and Third String in the play.
Describe the characters you play? Elmer is Iris’ friend who is often accused of stealing things. Third String is a tough character who is Captain Also’s helper in the tunnel.
What is Tony Palmieri like as a director? Tony is a great director and a great actor
When did you start doing theater? I started theatre when I was about 7 years old
What was your first role? My first real role was the Duke in Cinderella
What do you like the most about doing theatre? I like making the audience laugh and watch as they go through a journey
How old are you? I am 11 years old.
What grade are you in? 6th grade
